Becoming a member
Interested in getting involved with Darlington Community Garden? To be covered by insurance while working in the garden, you will need to become a member.
Membership fees are $20 per adult (waged) and $15 (unwaged); kids are free. We also have 'pay it forward' memberships available. Membership is per financial year and pro rata rates apply.
By becoming a member, you agree to abide by the DCG code of conduct, which is outlined opposite.
Code of Conduct
The garden is a community space and all members are asked to respect each other and the purpose of the garden.
Child Safety is our priority! Members are not to be alone with children without the explicit permission of parents.
All Members to dispose of waste appropriately, maximising the use of the DCG waste management services.
No smoking or drinking alcohol in the garden while gardening activities are underway.
Dogs are welcome in our community garden but must be under the control of their owners at all times.
Gardening is to be carried out communally and no member will assume sole use of any section of the garden, nor will individual plots be designated to any member/s
To become a member of the Darlington Community Garden, please complete and submit the online form below and transfer your membership fees to our bank account. Alternatively you can download a copy of our membership form and bring it along to a garden busy bee or email the completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org
Fees can be paid directly to a committee member or by online transfer to Darlington Community Garden Inc. at BSB 633-000, Acct 168 723 849 (Please include your name in the reference field so we know who has paid).
